Gayle Davis, owner and designer for M Stevens Dancewear works with fabric much like a sculptor works with clay. She has a unique style sense and a passion for personal expression. Trained at Los Angels Trade Technical School and Art Center College of Design, Ms. Davis combines technical skills with an extensive dance background to create dancewear that enhances the body and showcases fluid art. Her designs embody classic and modern movement through fabric flair and signature style.
Ms. Davis’ costume work may be viewed on stages around the world and are worn by some of today’s most talented performers and entertainment superstars. As a boutique dancewear company Ms. Davis and M. Stevens Dancewear can assist clients with custom designs and speciality costumes.
We cannot say enough about Lillian. She is an invaluable part of M Stevens. With her deep knowledge of the construction of garments and all machines, we are so privileged to work with her. For over 20 years she has sewn every garment coming through the work room, creating a beautifully cared for garment. Lillian loves music and animals. We have a shop cat named Mia. Mia adores Lillian…she sits by watching and sleeping next to Lillian as garments are made.
